Prepare for your online class
Information about the props that we need for our sessions! Scroll down for info about each individual prop.
✏ Its not always easy to have the typical yoga props - if you don’t have them, don’t worry! Use the objects that you can already find in your house 😊
✏Props support, help with alignment, and they can help us in some poses to “focus” more on the body areas that we need to work on.
✏That can be very beneficial, since we will need to avoid “stress” and tension in certain body areas.

🔸️1) The blanket🔸️
Have aside a thin blanket, like the one that cover up one your couch when you watch TV :). Maybe have two aside, sometimes we might need more support. Blankets can be used for warmth but also for support and alignment.
⭐An alternative to the blanket can be a towel. -
🔸️2) The yoga blocks🔸️
A very, very helpful tool that can help you get deeper in some poses, correct alignment, and provide you with support, as you focus on your breath.
It’s best to have two blocks aside. If you need more support you can use more.
You can purchase them online, and you can find affordable option.
⭐ If you want to use a home object to resemble the support of the block, you can use either a pile of books in the size of the block or a firm pillow. Or even a stack of folded blankets. Books slide easily off each other; therefore, they can't be used in all asanas.
Have 2 blocks aside or if you don't have blocks, two firm pillows/ book piles/blanket piles -
🔸️3) The yoga strap🔸️
Very helpful and really affordable. ⭐You can also use a scarf or a belt instead! Have one or two aside :)
-
🔸️4) The yoga bolster🔸️
The first 3 props will be needed. Number 4, the bolster, is an option. It is an amazing tool and ⭐ if you don't have one, you can make one out of a thicker blanket. So, you just roll a blanket to the size≈ 69cm x 23cm⌀. If you want your rolled blanket to stay firm and not unroll, you can cover it with a pillowcase and tie the ends of the pillowcases with a hairband or elastic band. :D
